In addition to his Judaic creations, Avi, a retired physicist, produces beautifully embroidered items with scientific themes. A quilt entitled “Atomic Quilt”, based on the first 20 atoms of the periodic table, has received an honorable mention from OASIS, a national educational organization (http://www.oasisnet.org/gallery/finalists.asp). He embroiders T-shirts with designs that embody important scientific principles. Design titles include: galaxies; big bang; black hole; diamond in the rough; random walk, center of gravity; angular momentum; for every action, an equal and opposite reaction; ala Maxwell; oxygen; F =ma; E=mc2; etc. Rosalind [Roz] Feldman has enjoyed sewing as a hobby for most of her life. Since retiring as a nurse psychotherapist, she has been involved in creating artistic utilitarian items inspired by nature, Judaic themes, and life passages. There are soft and cuddly items for babies, colorful blankets, pillows and clothing for children, women’s knit shirts, pillows commemorating women of valor and biblical and holiday themes, towels, quilts, wall hangings, fabric bowls and more. These are made to be passed down from generation to generation. To meet your special needs, Roz and Avi look forward to helping you select an item embroidered with our original designs or with our stock designs. All embroidered items can be customized with your choice of text, text font, and design objects. Albert and Rosalind Feldman |
