Tamah Graber has been working in glass for twenty years. Although she began work in stained glass, for the past five years she has been working in fused glass as well.  In 1983 Tamah took her first course in stained glass through Montgomery County Adult Education, and then studied at a private studio with Nancy Weisser for two years. Setting up her own studio at home, she continued classes at Glass Fantasies in Gaithersburg, Weisser Glass in Kensington, Meredith Glass and at the Jewish Community Center. She has taken workshops with nationally-known glass artists Peter McGrain, Newey Fagin, Ken Leap and Gil Reynolds.

Tamah works in fused, painted and sand-blasted glass and likes to incorporate several types into her work. She has exhibited her work at the Cheryl-Leonard Gallery, Congregation Beth El in Richmond, Maryland College of Art and Design, Tikvat Israel Congregation in Rockville, and McGrillis Gardens. She is a member of the National Capital Art Glass Guild and the Metropolitan Stained Glass Association, as well as ArtSites.

Tamah derives much inspiration from Biblical themes. Moses and Rebecca illustrate her interest in Biblical figures and stories. In addition to stained glass panels, she makes utilitarian objects, Judaic ritual objects such as mezzuzot and hanukkiot, and mirrors.
